Sisyphus : The Myth Review

Sisyphus : The Myth Review. This drama, starring Park Shin Hye and Cho Seung Woo, tells about the time travel of a mechanical engineer named Han Tae Sul and his future soldier Kang Seo Hae.

Han Tae Sul tries to reveal the truth behind the death of his older brother, Han Tae San. And that’s when Kang Seo Hae traveled to the past to save her.

Sisyphus’ Drama Strengths

The advantages of this film, in my opinion, are action dramas, the storyline is interesting because here there is one character who comes from the future to save his family and country, because later there will be another character who will make a new breakthrough but instead destroys the city of Seoul.

If the weakness is because the plot goes back and forth, it’s a bit confusing to watch, and the ending is less exciting and doesn’t explain enough. If you are curious to watch it, you can watch it on Netflix.

Sisyphus The Myth

Synopsis Drama sisyphus the myth

Sisyphus: The Myth was predicted to be a huge success because this is the first time JTBC has produced a Science-Fiction-themed drama and also stars A-list actor Cho Seungwoo and popular actress Park Shin-hye. The premiere episode started with a good rating, 6.6% but unfortunately there were a lot of production records on this drama which ended up causing it to drop quite a bit-but-bit-a-bit, rate marketing and popularity at the same time.

Like the Greek mythical figure, Sisyphus is seen as a symbol of absurdism, where human efforts to find meaning in life will end in failure and futility, and the human tendency to do so is absurd. The legend of Sisphus itself begins with meddling in the hands of the gods due to his arrogance and only trusting his brain. Han Tae-sul is the embodiment of Sisyphus himself.

Sun is right, Han Tae-sul should be the one who died because he was the beginning of the destruction of the future of humans in the world.
